The Eyeline

Today marks One Year of The Eyeline and I hope you have enjoyed the 395 posts in the last 365 days. I will cherish the memories from meeting so many wonderful people in the last year and I want to say thank you to everyone who let me take their picture and anyone who has stopped by to visit the site. Unfortunately The Eyeline will be on hiatus from an undetermined length of time but I hope to see you again soon!

Kara’s bag is Kathy Van Zeeland, vintage tweed coat and suede shoes, dress from Little White House, necklace from H&M, Roxanne’s Hats hat, brooch was her great grandmothers. Mike’s sweater is H&M, Esprit plaid shirt, vintage polka dot tie, Cheap Monday jeans and Rebel sneakers.

Kiks is wearing a denim jacket from Hong Kong, American Apparel top and studded sandals from the states. Phoebe (whom we’ve met before) is in all American Apparel and Keds sneakers.

Her plaid hat is from a consignment store, statement necklace from Mexico, fringe purse is American Eagle, Roxy jean shorts, shorts underneath are her boyfriends, white blouse from H&M, amazing lace up boots super discount at Aldo for $35!!

Faye is wearing H&M sunglasses, Urban Behavior embellished and zebra striped blouse, Urban Outfitters pleated khaki shorts, vinyl with gold hardwear purse from her mothers closet and Blowfish snakeskin sandals. Anna is wearing Blue Ruby sunglasses, Club Monaco striped shirt, Forever 21 basic black shorts and H&M bejeweled sandals.

I really liked her simple neutrals and how they are all luxe pieces.  Her earrings are from Nigeria, Jacob polka dot top, Zara sweater and shorts, vintage purse, belt was a gift from her mom, Nine West sandals from a Seattle outlet mall.

Adorable Emerald is inspired by the Japanese style Ageha, a spin off from Gao.

Ashley was the first girl I saw really embodying the beachy vibe of summer. What can I say it has been very unpredictable weather in Vancouver, including many rainy days. Her bag is BCBG, necklace is from a vintage store in the USA, Purr tank top, Forever 21 shorts and Aldo sandals.

Fatima caught my eye in her simple yet bold look.  The bandaged wrist band is a nice touch.  Striped blouse is from Urban Behaviour, Forever 21 skirt, American Apparel tights, Urban Outfitters booties, Marc Jacobs purse her sister got for her in the USA.

Joy was rushing to meet up with a friend to catch Sex & The City 2, we were very lucky she stopped for a photo.  Her sweater and leggings are from Club Monaco, lace blouse and blazer from Aritzia, hat is H&M, necklace was diy and her shoes are vintage.

The engaging Mel of Idée Géniale met up with me for brunch when she was in Vancouver this week.
She thrifted the floral ruffled blouse, belt and khaki shorts, American Apparel navy tights and her buckled powder blue loafers are by Jeffrey Campbell.
