The Eyeline

He got these tie dye jeans online.  They are the perfect fit, I want a pair.

Hiro from Japan has been living in Vancouver for three years.  Her jacket is H&M, the tights and boots are both from Japan.  I really like her repeated theme of red pieces here and the striped tights with red shoes is so of wicked witch of the east.

Zrinka from Europe with her Cleopatra hair is chic in a luxurious layered black skirt and patterned lace tights.

His necklace is from Aldo and the harem pants are from the womens section of Urban Outfitters.  Daniel said tomorrow he will be wearing tights.  I really like the simplicity of his outfit and the echo of his eyeglasses in the necklace.

Her shirt is new from Bedo, the blue velvet jacket she’s owned for 8 years and the lapel brooch is vintage from the 1940s. Those adorable blue grey lace up heels were a steal at $30, she is constantly getting compliments on them.  Shelly was doing some shopping the day we snapped her, check out the extra bag of goodies to the side.

Emma from Terrace, BC blew me away, I ran up to her as she was opening the door to American Apparel and probably freaked her out a bit.  I just couldn’t miss the moment to capture her for The Eyeline.  She was super sweet about it, so thank you Emma.  The headband borrowed from a friend is from Urban Colour and she is wearing two pairs of layered tights.

Laura purchased her gloves from Coach last winter and called them ‘her lifeline’. The oversized striped scarf is from Winners.  I think she looks so classic and chic, how you say effortless.

Long story short, I see this girl in an amazing hooded leather jacket and I go up to ask her for a picture. As she is talking to me I realize right away she is Rachel Leigh Cook and I get a little embarrassed.  Hello?  She’s All That and Josie and the Pussycats were staples of my teen years.  She was drop dead gorgeous up close, very personable and in hindsight I am glad I asked her to stop for her style first.  I wonder what she is up to in Vancouver?

I really like Andreas mix of soft colors in pinks and oranges.  Her jacket surprise to us both is from Le Chateau, the plaid shirt she thrifted, scarf was a gift from her mother and the concert tee is for The Greenbelt Collective, she saw them perform the night before.

Jan was with a couple of girlfriends and she quickly grabbed my attention with all those bright fun colors.  There is a peek of blue lace tights if you look close and I really like her brocade purse.

Jeffrey is tying to dress more colorful these days.
His yellow tinted sunglasses are from Bang On, Donkey Kong Tee Shirt is from Bluenotes, an old flannel shirt, Pink Jeans via Urban Planet and Teal Sneakers are El Kartel.

Ludmila is visiting from Ukraine. She didn’t speak any English so I showed her some pictures on my camera and then she knew what I meant. I am so glad she let me shoot her, this bright outfit really made the day.

Jun is from Japan. His friends were all laughing about the pants, he just got them at Value Village that day.

Connie works as a stylist at Chopping Block at Broadway and Kingsway.  Her jacket is from Zara Boys (love that) and she is wearing a 60s dress from True Value Vintage where Darrell works.  His hat is from Edie Hats, the blazer is Zara, jeans from H&M and everything else is vintage.
