The Eyeline

What an adorable little dude. His mom was looking very stylish as well because of course as a mom who dresses her son in unique pocket printed pants and mixed patterns would. Initially I wanted to get them to pose together but my request was lost with lack of translation.

Her gothic necklace and corseted ruffly dress are from Hot Topic, knit sweater and kitty cat purse she got in China and those amazing buckled red suede heels were found on eBay.

I spotted Lexie in this adorable silhouette from a half block away but she was on the phone.  Now, I may not have mentioned before but here at The Eyeline we tend to avoid asking people who are busy for example; on the phone, eating, reading, yelling at their children…. Luckily only a few moments later Lexie ended her call and was happy to pose for a quick picture.  Her ruffled blouse is from H&M, Zara cuffed dress pants, vintage shoulder bag, Tiffany’s bracelet and Kenneth Cole fringed sandals.

YiWen caught my eye in her effortless casual chic look. Something about that icy blue, a soft yet bold color that’s a nice alternative to a basic white tee. She is from China living here while studying at Vancouver Film School; her boots are from Urban Outfitters.

Lindsey’s showing us a stylish way to dress up a pair of stand out sneakers.  A fitted cardigan, collared shirt and tie, the sporty watch adds the balanced dressed down element.  The shirt he’s had for about 10 years now, thrifted the tie at Value Village, Zara sweater was a gift, H&M jeans, sneakers via Livestock in Gastown and a G Shock watch.

Marias cute floral top is from Red Deer, the cardigan was a gift from her mom, her sunglasses are from Target and those are brand new Converse sneakers.  Paul is wearing a Dickies hat, designer jeans, DKNY wallet and Aldo Boots.

Lauren caught my eye carrying this pot she just sold on Craigslist. Her adorable bow skirt is from Forever 21, she thrifted the ruffle blouse, teal tights were Joe Fresh via Superstore and cute embellished flats are from Payless. This cute outfit cost her less than $50! Lauren just started the blog A Bird in the Hand focusing on food, fashion and travel.

Rachel, visiting Vancouver from Kamloops, BC embodies that cool as a cucumber vibe in muted tones and leather. Her jacket was a gift her grandmother sent from Hawaii, sweater was given to her by an ex-boyfriends mom, floral dress and flats from Urban Outfitters, black tights via a dollar store, scarf was a gift from a friend in Arabia and the sunglasses she bought at Winners.

The soft colors and her loose braid feels very Californian in it’s ease.  Everything Katie is wearing is from Aritzia where she works except the suede oxford shoes which are Stuart Weistzman.  She also has a fashion blog QueenandBroadway.

I saw Ashleigh sitting here and it was already the perfect fashion shot. Her polka dot dress and her sunglasses are from Vintage shops on Main Street and the clutch is second hand. Ashleigh is visiting from Victoria, BC.
