The Eyeline

Leopard print jacket is from Front on Main Street, baby blue eyeglasses she found in a thrift bin and added the prescription, shirt dress is vintage from Cherry Bomb, hot pink tights from Japan and the two tone brogues are John Fluevog.

Sarah, in her big sisters dress and bejeweled heels melted my heart <3.

Her scarf is from New York and her mother sent the jacket from Dubai but Lian also lived there for 10 years.

The retro ski jacket is from a vintage store in Berlin.  Enda is from an Island in Northern BC and he has been living in Vancouver since September.

Amelia has had this puffy vest since 10th grade. For shopping she sticks with thrift stores, The Salvation Army, Value Village and consignment shops for the price point.  I like her repeated rainbows in the vest, plaid flats and purse.

Yari is from Mexico, she purchased the umbrella on Commercial Drive.  The rainbow print umbrella and bright hoodie really stood out in the sea of black on this rainy day.

Jeffrey is tying to dress more colorful these days.
His yellow tinted sunglasses are from Bang On, Donkey Kong Tee Shirt is from Bluenotes, an old flannel shirt, Pink Jeans via Urban Planet and Teal Sneakers are El Kartel.

Ludmila is visiting from Ukraine. She didn’t speak any English so I showed her some pictures on my camera and then she knew what I meant. I am so glad she let me shoot her, this bright outfit really made the day.

Jun is from Japan. His friends were all laughing about the pants, he just got them at Value Village that day.

Purchased in China.  She was doing a project as well so I answered some questions for her.

Laura got the boots as a gift from her dad, she thinks he purchased them at a gardening store because little old ladies always compliment her on them and her red jacket is from Value Village.  As you can see by her shopping bag she was at one of my favorite vintage shops Deluxe Junk Co. in Gastown.

What a funky stylish gal, she does a lot of her shopping at El Kartel on Robson.

Hugo A GoGo loves the color orange (even his nails are painted the bright hue!) and yes he wears the color every day.  He was such a pleasure, nice gentleman to meet.  He moved to Vancouver from Los Angeles two years ago.

Don’t you just love beautiful and unusal names?  Parisa’s shirt belongs to her roommate, her skirt she told me but I regret to say I cannot recall, perhaps a consignment store?  I like how the shirt and shoes are both a variation of the red in her skirt, the longer sleeves appropriate for it being early fall.  And there is my shadow once again, hello!
