The Eyeline

Jake & Lucy have been best friends for a long time.
He is wearing Lucy’s jacket and his sunglasses are from Le Chateau.
Her jacket is a hand me down from a friend and her sunglasses she got from Jake.

I really liked her Matt & Nat purse, winged eye make up and bandage skirt paired with cute bow heels.

I really liked both their jackets and what an adorable couple they make.  The brooch belonged to Jen’s grandmother.

Dani’s jacket is from Mintage, she likes to shop second hand and vintage shops like True Value Vintage.

Dylan works at Urban Outfitters and Cara works at American Apparel.  They like to shop at Holt Renfrew, True Value Vintage, Value Village as well as their UO and AA stores.  I like Dylan’s neutrals palette and Caras all black statement.  Look close to see she is wearing shorts and tights here.

Karalee just moved to Vancouver from Edmonton for school and she is already loving it here!

Yari is from Mexico, she purchased the umbrella on Commercial Drive.  The rainbow print umbrella and bright hoodie really stood out in the sea of black on this rainy day.

He got these tie dye jeans online.  They are the perfect fit, I want a pair.

Hiro from Japan has been living in Vancouver for three years.  Her jacket is H&M, the tights and boots are both from Japan.  I really like her repeated theme of red pieces here and the striped tights with red shoes is so of wicked witch of the east.

Long story short, I see this girl in an amazing hooded leather jacket and I go up to ask her for a picture. As she is talking to me I realize right away she is Rachel Leigh Cook and I get a little embarrassed.  Hello?  She’s All That and Josie and the Pussycats were staples of my teen years.  She was drop dead gorgeous up close, very personable and in hindsight I am glad I asked her to stop for her style first.  I wonder what she is up to in Vancouver?

Jenny is the designer behind Hawks Ave, another fabulous .ca site.  It was funny, she said she knew someone was going to ask for her photo.  And how could I not, she has such unique style and her haircut and vintage fringe jacket are beyond cool.

Her jacket is from Stitches and the scarf is from Rio Azul.  Notice how the bus going by says “Go Canucks Go”.

Mandee thrifted the most amazing vintage pink boots.

Madeleine recently moved from Sweden to Vancouver.  All her clothes are from there; the leopard print shoes are H&M and the jeans are from Villa.

More than anything I am really into these girls haircuts plus their simple cool style.
