The Eyeline

The engaging Mel of Idée Géniale met up with me for brunch when she was in Vancouver this week.
She thrifted the floral ruffled blouse, belt and khaki shorts, American Apparel navy tights and her buckled powder blue loafers are by Jeffrey Campbell.

Her gothic necklace and corseted ruffly dress are from Hot Topic, knit sweater and kitty cat purse she got in China and those amazing buckled red suede heels were found on eBay.

I spotted Lexie in this adorable silhouette from a half block away but she was on the phone.  Now, I may not have mentioned before but here at The Eyeline we tend to avoid asking people who are busy for example; on the phone, eating, reading, yelling at their children…. Luckily only a few moments later Lexie ended her call and was happy to pose for a quick picture.  Her ruffled blouse is from H&M, Zara cuffed dress pants, vintage shoulder bag, Tiffany’s bracelet and Kenneth Cole fringed sandals.

Lauren caught my eye carrying this pot she just sold on Craigslist. Her adorable bow skirt is from Forever 21, she thrifted the ruffle blouse, teal tights were Joe Fresh via Superstore and cute embellished flats are from Payless. This cute outfit cost her less than $50! Lauren just started the blog A Bird in the Hand focusing on food, fashion and travel.

Lala likes to shop at Parker Place in Richmond, her ruffled blouse is from there.  Floral dress via stitches, blazer from Broadway and the striped tights she cannot recall. Isn’t that strawberry umbrella adorable?

Sarah, in her big sisters dress and bejeweled heels melted my heart <3.

Meta is originally from New Zealand and also lived in the UK. Most of what she is wearing was purchased in Vancouver and the heart print tights were sent by a friend in the United States.

Her shirt is new from Bedo, the blue velvet jacket she’s owned for 8 years and the lapel brooch is vintage from the 1940s. Those adorable blue grey lace up heels were a steal at $30, she is constantly getting compliments on them.  Shelly was doing some shopping the day we snapped her, check out the extra bag of goodies to the side.

I am truly into this first photo of Tiffany.  In a mess of business casual people and the one guy top left who is looking into the camera here is Tiffany striking a fabulous pose.   So far I haven’t moved people around much, basically where I see them is where I shoot the picture so that would be why there can be many background players involved.
