The Eyeline

Katie shows us how to pull off ‘Olympic Chic’.

She is originally from Ontario now living in Vancouver.  Wearing a Burton vest, scarf from Le Chateau, Pacific Border jeans, Sterlings boots, the sunglasses were by a designer in Whistler, sweater and gloves from The Bay.

Benjamin from Toronto is visiting Vancouver for the Olympics. The boots and bag were purchased on a trip to New York, that amazing overized scarf was off the set of Capote where he was working as a Wardrobe Stylist and the leather jacket was designed by Justice (the band!) in a collaboration with Surface to Air.

Pierre Luc from Montreal and will be performing in the Opening Ceremonies tonight.
Break a leg!

Tammi lived in Vancouver in 2008-2009 and couldn’t miss the Olympics so came back to visit for a couple of months.  On this afternoon she was headed to Robson Square for ice skating. The beret, knee high boots and high waisted leggings are all her moms from the 1970s, the jacket is vintage.

The mustard jacket she has had for many years and her necklace is Betsey Johnson.

The jacket was from a friend, who also had got it from a friend. Her hat is from Aldo and the scarf is from Used.

Meta is originally from New Zealand and also lived in the UK. Most of what she is wearing was purchased in Vancouver and the heart print tights were sent by a friend in the United States.

Ferri is from Iran, she got this jacket in Europe.

Her red pointed heels are from a store in London, it’s her first time wearing this 80s craziness jacket from Value Village and jeans are from G-Sus which used to have a location on Granville Street. The cute purse was her swimming bag when she was a kid, it’s lined in plastic.

Her scarf is from New York and her mother sent the jacket from Dubai but Lian also lived there for 10 years.

Karyn is originally from Victoria.
Her mustard jacket is Urban Outfitters, the boots and purse are from vintage store The Patch in Victoria where she used to work.

Asta is from Greenland and we took her photo on her first day here, isn’t that cool?  She is in Vancouver studying for 6 months.  Everything she is wearing is from Greenland.  Below is a close up of her tall boots.

Her jacket is from Urban Planet and footless floral tights from Aritzia.
The shirt below was made for as a present from El Kartel it reads “I am the Queen of the Elephants and I can do whatever I want!”

Edwina, is staying in Vancouver with her sister Emily until the end of the Olympic Games. They are Australians who have contract jobs with the Olympics. Her jacket is from block, scarf was a gift from her grandmother and the hat she bought five minutes ago at Urban Outfitters.
