The Eyeline

The engaging Mel of Idée Géniale met up with me for brunch when she was in Vancouver this week.
She thrifted the floral ruffled blouse, belt and khaki shorts, American Apparel navy tights and her buckled powder blue loafers are by Jeffrey Campbell.

Rachel, visiting Vancouver from Kamloops, BC embodies that cool as a cucumber vibe in muted tones and leather. Her jacket was a gift her grandmother sent from Hawaii, sweater was given to her by an ex-boyfriends mom, floral dress and flats from Urban Outfitters, black tights via a dollar store, scarf was a gift from a friend in Arabia and the sunglasses she bought at Winners.

I saw Ashleigh sitting here and it was already the perfect fashion shot. Her polka dot dress and her sunglasses are from Vintage shops on Main Street and the clutch is second hand. Ashleigh is visiting from Victoria, BC.

Louisa is a make up artist, originally from Victoria now living in London.  She is wearing Paul Smith sunglasses, polka dot top and scarf from Topshop and the rest is from London as well.

Dress is by IchJane a Germany designer and also a friend of Nina’s, paisley scarf from London, trench coat she literally found on a bench on the streets of Berlin and Hunter rain boots.

The floral jacket is vintage, shorts and shoes from H&M, shirt from American Apparel and her sunglasses were thrifted.

They said they are Swedish Womens Hockey players so I looked through the roster of athletes but wasn’t able to determine if any players where these lovely gals.

Benjamin from Toronto is visiting Vancouver for the Olympics. The boots and bag were purchased on a trip to New York, that amazing overized scarf was off the set of Capote where he was working as a Wardrobe Stylist and the leather jacket was designed by Justice (the band!) in a collaboration with Surface to Air.

This will be David from Edmonton’s third Olympics.  He got emotional talking about it, he hopes Barbara Ann Scott will light the Olympic cauldron tonight.
